Lombard memorial hospital proudly introduces the KARUNALAYA GERIATRIC NURSING CARE which was inaugurated on 29.10.2021 by our bishop Rt .Rev Mohan Manoraj.The guests of honor were Rev Ivan.D. Soans,Area Chairman,KSD Udupi; Mr Ramesh Kanchan,President Udupi Block Congress/Councillor and Mr Vijay Poojari,Councillor,Bailoor area and presided by our Director,Dr Sushil Jathanna.
Our Geriatric unit comprises of 1 Special room,1 Semi-Special Room and 17 General beds. Karunalaya Geriatric Nursing Care Unit is supervised by trained nurses to take care of the health issues of the residents. All the health issues will be addressed with utmost care. A qualified doctor will be made available for periodical, routine requirements of the residents. Residents will be served normal, balanced, good quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food depending on their request.Laundry services are also available within the campus.
Karunalaya Geriatric Nursing Care Unit gives due importance to the spiritual well-being of all residents irrespective of caste or creed. An interfaith room is provided for the same purpose.
Provisions for Respite Care (availing stay for few days) is also available.
