Philosophy of College of Nursing
Nursing education at college of nursing, CSI Lombard Memorial Hospital is interpreted according to Christian philosophy of life. Hence the faculty of the college and all associated personnel aim at producing a nurse motivated by the love of God, a nurse having a mature judgement, intellectually and morally enlightened and professionally equipped so that she will be capable of giving comprehensive nursing care to the human being and function efficiently in programs of social health and preventive medicine.
Aim
The aim of nursing education of the college of nursing is to develop in the students the knowledge, skill and attitude to render professional nursing care to the people of all ages in a variety of settings.
Objectives
- To prepare an individual as a prospective member of the profession in order to uphold the dignity of the Profession.
- To prepare Professional Nurses who will provide comprehensive health care to public with commitment & compassion
- To develop Professional nurses who will render service in different levels of Health care delivery system.
- To enhance the Professional Growth of Nursing through continued Research Process.

B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) 4 years including internship
Eligibility for Admission
A candidate seeking admission should have
- Passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination, 50% marks in PCB (physics, chemistry, Biology)40% marks for reserved category in PCB.
2.Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission
Note: Admission based on merit of previous qualifying examination, admission of NRIs and foreign nationals is based on the qualifying marks in their core subjects
