Lombard memorial hospital proudly introduces the KARUNALAYA GERIATRIC NURSING CARE which was inaugurated on 29.10.2021 by our bishop Rt .Rev Mohan Manoraj.The guests of honor were Rev Ivan.D. Soans,Area Chairman,KSD Udupi; Mr Ramesh Kanchan,President Udupi Block Congress/Councillor and Mr Vijay Poojari,Councillor,Bailoor area and presided by our Director,Dr Sushil Jathanna. Our Geriatric unit comprises of 1 Special room,1 Semi-Special Room and 17 General beds. Karunalaya Geriatric Nursing Care Unit is supervised by trained nurses to take care of the health issues of the residents. All the health issues will be addressed with utmost care. A qualified doctor will be made available for periodical, routine requirements of the residents. Residents will be served normal, balanced, good quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food depending on their request.Laundry services are also available within the campus. Karunalaya Geriatric Nursing Care Unit gives due importance to the spiritual well-being of all residents irrespective of caste or creed. An interfaith room is provided for the same purpose. Vātsalya Palliative Care Unit

Vātsalya Palliative Care Unit, a division of Lombard Memorial Hospital, is dedicated to meeting the needs of patients facing cancer and other end-of-life conditions. Our facility offers a general ward, a semi-special ward, and a special ward with ensuite bathrooms for added comfort and convenience. In addition to patient rooms, we have a treatment area and an interfaith prayer room, providing both medical care and spiritual support. Our team includes counselors who are available to offer emotional support to patients who may be experiencing mental distress.

Outpatient Department

This is the part of a hospital designed for the treatment of outpatients, people with health problems who visit the hospital for diagnosis or treatment.

Inpatient Wards

The additional rooms are upgraded and modernized so as to give better care and comfort to the patient and the family members. There will be 18 single rooms with all the facilities with Double, super deluxe, deluxe and special rooms.
