July 3, 2022
A Prayer Retreat was organized on July 3, 2022, at the Lombard College of Nursing Auditorium, as part of the centenary celebrations of the hospital. The retreat offered an opportunity for spiritual reflection and unity among the staff, students, retired colleagues, and invited guests of Lombard Memorial Hospital (LMH).
The retreat featured two esteemed speakers, Bro. Vijay Hebbal and Mrs. Jessie Hebbal, who led the sessions with inspirational talks and prayers. The central theme of the retreat was "To Serve and Not to Be Served," emphasizing selflessness, humility, and the importance of serving others in the spirit of Christ. Their message resonated deeply with all attendees, encouraging a commitment to service within both the professional and personal spheres of life.
The event was well-attended by current and retired staff members, students of the college, and several invited guests. The retreat provided a meaningful time for all those present to come together in prayer, reflect on the Hospital’s legacy, and seek blessings for continued service to the community.
Overall, the retreat was a spiritually enriching experience, and it contributed significantly to the centenary celebrations of Lombard Memorial Hospital.
